A Messianic Synagogue established to provide a place where Jew and Gentile can gather together in the name of Yeshua, G-D’s Messiah, and worship the G-D of Abraham , Issac and Jacob.
We put emphasis on being honest before the L-RD and seeking to become “living sacrifices” spoke of in Romans 12:1. Too often worship is made to be an external event of a contrived, emotional experience bent on entertainment. We believe worship is only done in humility through repentance from sin and faith and trust in Yeshua the Messiah.
Our focus is on The Living Word (the logos) John 1:1 and on the written Word. We believe that the Tanach (Holy Scriptures known as the Old Testament) and the B’rit Chadasha (New Covenant) as the only infallible and authoritative Word of G-D. We recognize divine inspiration and accept its teachings as our final authority in all manners of faith and practice.
“Yet even now yet even now” says ADONAI, “Turn to me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping and lamenting.” Tear your heart, not your garments; and turn to ADONAI your G-D. For He is merciful and compassionate, slow to anger, rich in grace and willing to change His mind about disaster. Joel 2:12-13
-Proclaim Messiah Yeshua to Jewish and non-Jewish people.
-Connect those people personally with the G-D of Israel through teaching, prayer, worship and fellowship.
-Equip them to serve.
-Inspire believers everywhere to connect with the Jewish roots of their faith.
-Teach the oneness of the Holy Scriptures, both the Tanach and B’rit Chadasha.
Congregation Beth Yeshua on Mount Zion began as a small group of Jewish and Gentile believers meeting together to remember the Shabbat by live streaming the worship services of another Messianic Jewish Synagogue.
The L-RD led us to stop live-streaming and begin to hold our own worship services. During that time He provided our Torah Scroll and began to teach us a culture at Beth Yeshua that seeks to be Biblical and of the same culture of Yeshua the Messiah, namely a Jewish culture.
From October 2021 to August of 2025 we met at Resonate Church in Janesville where we were able to keep the Biblical Feasts (Leviticus 23) and the L-RD added to our mishpucha (family) and expanded our ministry outreach. In August of 2025 the L-RD gave us our Synagogue on Mount Zion Avenue in Janesville, Wisconsin.
